General Information

The Redland District Swimming Carnival will be held on Wednesday 8th February, 2011 using a time trial format. At the end of the heats for a given event, the fastest six names will be highlighted given they have bettered the Metropolitan East qualifying time. These children will compete for our District at the Regional Carnival which will be held at the Chandler Aquatic Centre on Tuesday, 28th February from 8am – 3.30pm. This carnival will also follow a time trial format.

Nominations

  • Each school will be able to nominate 2 competitors for each event.
  • A 3rd competitor may be nominated if their time betters the Additional Swimmer’s  Qualifying Time.(Contact Richard Kneipp-Cleveland S.S  for  additional swimmers application)
  • Qualifying times have been listed for our carnival but they are to be used as a guide if you are unsure of the quality of the swimmer.
